<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">First...</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I want to say apologize if for the past 2 month (imagine that!) I didn't post any new recipe or blog post here. Lot of things happen that need more attention and been busy this days and yes I did take a time to travel to Singapore and Bali at our 12Anniversary :D , Will share the photos with you as soon as I can :) </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">So, reader and blogger... would you please forgive me for this late post? </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I know you will ;) </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br>
</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">And now, our love ones... the food of course :)</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br>
</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Don't you agree if I say that, nothing can compare a refreshing salad after a hectic day?! </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Well, dessert is something that we often call as an indulgence after a long day. But salad, it's just something that I will always call as a "medicine" or a "detox" that will help our palate and senses to regain their memory back... And that is, truly something most precious for us, blogger, cooker and food enthusiasm - our palate and senses!</span></div>

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><a href="http://elieslie.blogspot.com/2011/10/balado-indonesian-chili-sambal-sauce.html">Balado</a> is best known chili sauce that the recipe is past down from generation to generation in Indonesia. And today I want to share with you one more Indonesian traditional dish which made with the <a href="http://elieslie.blogspot.com/2011/10/balado-indonesian-chili-sambal-sauce.html">balado sauce</a>, called Prawn Balado. </span><br>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br>
</span><br>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">In Indonesia, most of the people loves to eat spicy food. I think maybe 80% of the people, even my son which is 11yr old loves this dish. I use red hot chili paper that less spicy for my <a href="http://elieslie.blogspot.com/2011/10/balado-indonesian-chili-sambal-sauce.html">balado sauce</a> and deseed the chili so the sauce is not too hot. If you can't tolerate spicy too much then you can add more the tomato, add more sugar, less the chili and skip of the chili padi. Or maybe you can use half of the <a href="http://elieslie.blogspot.com/2011/10/balado-indonesian-chili-sambal-sauce.html">balado sauce recipe</a> for one serving of dish, just adjust to your palate :)</span><br>

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">As long as I remember... balado is the most known "chili sauce" in Indonesia. That because this kind of chili sauce can be made almost with everything or even for a dipping sauce.</span><br>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Balado can be cook together with fried or boiled egg, fried chicken, tofu, seafood and vegetables. So, this type of sambal is the most "helpful" dish for every housewife in Indonesia, because with only one sauce we can prepare a different kind of dish everyday! </span><br>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">What more helpful than that?! :)</span><br>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br>
</span><br>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">This chili sauce recipe is pass down from generation to generation in Indonesia. Sometimes the daughter will add more spice of maybe the grand daughter will less some spice but t</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">he most basic ingredients for balado sambal is shallot, chili, tomato puree together and saute with sugar and salt to taste. You can add a hint of asian spice if you prefer your balado sambal have a fragrant like mine, or maybe you can add tamarind or even shrimp paste to make a different kind of taste.</span><br>
